Education

Giving underprivileged children access to education is the best place to start when it comes to addressing issues like healthcare, poverty, unemployment, population control, and human rights. Children who receive an education not only have a more secure future, but also develop into responsible citizens of both their country and the world. All children between the ages of six and fourteen are required to receive free and compulsory education under the 2010 Right to Education (RTE) Act. However, many children in the nation have not experienced a steady learning curve even after a decade. Several parents' socioeconomic circumstances and inadequate instruction in schools are obstacles that keep many kids from receiving an education.

The main initiative of the CAN Foundation, Mission Education, aims to empower disadvantaged kids by offering them wellness, nutrition, and educational opportunities. The program is in full compliance with SDG Goal 4 (Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote opportunities for lifelong learning for all) as well as the New Education Policy (2020). Children (3–18 years old) living in challenging situations, children from low-income families, children with disabilities, children affected by disasters, abandoned and street children, and children living in tribal belts, isolated villages, and difficult-to-reach areas are all served by Mission Education.
